Special Alpenglow Concert: Celebrating 25 years with KBUT Radio

This Monday, July 2, brings an extra-special Alpenglow Outdoor Concert to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of local Radio Station KBUT…

The fun begins with a parade down Elk Avenue at 4:45 p.m. There won’t be any floats in this parade… just folks walking, dancing, and riding (probably in colorful, wacky costumes) their way to the Center for the Arts.

The local band from Gunnison, Iola, will start playing at the Outdoor Stage at the Center for the Arts around 5:00 p.m., followed by the MarchFourth Marching Band from 6:00-8:30 p.m.

Mikey’s Pizza and Ginger Café will be serving up food. Or pack your own picnic basket. Just be sure to kick back and enjoy the music!
