2012 Mardi Gras Parade

The 2012 Mardi Gras parade down Elk Avenue takes place on Tuesday, Feb. 21. The parade will include an assortment of krewes and floats. Rumor has it they’ll be breaking out the dragon. Come celebrate Fat Tuesday Crested Butte style!

Parade starts at 5:30 pm from the Depot (near the 4-Way Stop in downtown Crested Butte) and marches up Elk Avenue. Break out your favorite beads and colorful mask or just come as you are. Don’t forget to wear warm clothes… Mardi Gras is early this year!
