The Big Air on Elk is back again this year and is going to be better than ever!

What is Big Air on Elk???

A crazy, unique, crowd-pleasing event where Elk Avenue is shut down for several blocks to allow for a giant “kicker” to be built right in the middle of downtown.  Skiers and snowboarders are towed behind snowmobiles to launch high into the air an perform their best tricks for the panel of judges and audience. You really have to see it to believe it!

Best Place to Take It All In???

The snowmobiles start at 2nd Street.  The kicker is at 3rd Street. And the landing is at 4th Street. So the best viewing of Big Air will be between 3rd & 4th Streets. The fun kicks off at 5pm.

Not Lucky Enough to be in Crested Butte on March 12???
