New Year’s Eve in Crested Butte

If you are lucky enough to spend New Year’s Eve in Crested Butte this year, here are some ideas to help you ring in the New Year!

1. Stroll along Elk Avenue during the ArtWalk Evening. Visit a variety of studios & art galleries in Downtown Crested Butte.

2. Ring in the New Year with good friends in a spectacular mountain setting.  Ski-in to the Magic Meadows Yurt to enjoy a five-course dinner, libations, and music followed by festive NYE party. Or just come for the party. Be sure to get your tickets in advance, as this event sells out every year.

3. Live Music at the Eldo: Mine Control
Ullr’s been chained up and under lock-down the last couple of years, and he’s about to be unleashed in the Elk Mountains! Wear your best white Nordic-inspired god and goddess costumes. “Mine Control” will crown a Snow King and Queen who will win a $50 bar tab! Show starts at 10:30pm – $7 – Ages 21 and up only

4. Check the local newspaper for dining, live music, and other opportunities to ring in the New Year!
