The Financial Times Has Great Things to Say About Downtown Crested Butte

A Financial Times article by Rupert Mellor on October 9 / 10, 2010 – The Wilder West – talks about the benefits of going to “less-visited, and arguably more characterful, resorts” like Crested Butte.

And they specifically point out that “it’s three miles down the road [from Crested Butte Mountain Resort], in the cute, kitschy town proper (linked by free shuttle buses), where accommodation consists of cosy B&Bs and homes for hire, that the best off-mountain fun is found.”

WOW!!!  We couldn’t agree more!
